StoryWalk® and Interactive Reading
January 27, 2023 - January 28, 2023
Join us at the Seaway Mall on Friday January 27th where we will be displaying the book “On My Walk” by Kari-Lynn Winters throughout the mall via a family StoryWalk®!
This activity will start at the Seaway Mall Welland Public Library branch, where a goodie bag will be handed out for children to complete the optional activities. The story boards will be placed throughout the mall starting at the Library, wrapping through the main hallway (past Bear Sushi and Bell) ending at EarlyON.
Additionally, on January 27th at 11am, we will gather at Coles for an interactive reading of the book by the author where copies can be purchased and signed!
The StoryWalk® can be enjoyed on your own leisure at any time from January 27th-28th during mall hours! We hope to see you out here with your family enjoying the book from local author and Brock Professor Kari-Lynn Winters!
How It Works:
At each StoryWalk® activity station, help define a safe activity space for your child.
Remind children to be mindful of others in the nearby space.
Invite your child to share their ideas and express themselves.
Read the book!
