Have you heard of the Spring It Forward Challenge?

It’s new, so let us fill you in!

🥫THREE🥫 major food banks in Welland have come together with Seaway to challenge the community to raise food and essential items BY FILLING AN ENTIRE UNIT in the mall! That’s Open Arms Mission, The Hope Centre, and Holy Trinity Church Welland. Our goal is not just to raise food, but to raise awareness and spread hope at the same time! Each day, there is a new challenge with chances to win prizes!The unit we chose is located inside the mall beside EarlyON. It has 2900 square feet to work with and is lined with shelving from floor to ceiling. We can’t wait for everyone to see how their contributions “stack up”!

Here’s the week at a glance:

🏛 Mon April 17th: Dignitary Day. 11AM-5PM

We challenge them to see who can raise the most!

🏭 Tues April 18th: Large Corporation Day. 11AM-5PM

We challenge them to see who can raise the most.

💼 Wed April 19th: Small Business Day. 11AM-5PM

If you donate, you get one (1) ballot entry for a prize.

📣 Thurs April 20th: General Public Day. 11AM-8PM

If you donate, you get one (1) ballot entry for a prize.

🎒 Fri April 21st: School Day. 11 AM – 5PM

Which classroom can raise the most? Winning class gets a pizza party!

🎪 Sat April 22nd: Fun Zone Day! 11 AM – 5PM

We challenge the community to come out to the mall and participate in our “Fun Zone For Kids” in Centre Court. Admission is “Pay What You Can” or a non-perishable good. Families who join us can enter one ballot per person to win prizes!

🚘 Sun April 23rd: Drive-Thru Day. 11 AM – 5PM
