Despite the generational and technological gap, Ben is assigned to work for the company’s young and driven founder and CEO, Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway). Initially skeptical of Ben’s usefulness, Jules soon comes to appreciate his wisdom, calm demeanor, and old-school professionalism.
As they work together, Ben becomes a valuable mentor and friend, helping Jules navigate personal and professional challenges—including pressure from investors, the strain of balancing work and family, and doubts about her leadership.
