Periods Don’t Stop for Pandemics
United Way is running their annual Period Promise campaign May 1st – May 28th – collecting menstrual hygiene products to distribute to agencies across Niagara.
The campaign aims to reduce period poverty in Niagara. Period poverty is real and exists in our community.
Did you know that 1 in 4 people in Niagara struggle to afford period products?
Could you choose between buying food or period products? No one should have to choose, and you can help change this.
Watch the Period Promise campaign video to find out more: Make Your Period Promise!
You can help us end period poverty during the month of May!
United Way is accepting unopened boxes of period products to give to those in need.
