About Us

The Salvation Army provides emergency community supports to help people meet their basic needs and achieve self-sufficiency. They are a transforming influence in the communities of our world. The Welland Community and Family Services offers many programs and services such as: life skills training (Home with a Heart), anger management for kids (Red Cap), summer camp opportunities, Christmas programs, emergency disaster services, mobile truck outreach, and connecting homeless persons with food and shelter. In the winter time, they offer Christmas toy donation support to families, along with meal vouchers, on an as-needed, sign-up basis. Their work in the Welland community is profound and has a ripple effect in making our community supportive and strong.
