Doral Holding Limited and 430635 Ontario Inc. (herein after referred to as 'The Seaway Mall') will offer aspiring retail entrepreneurs an opportunity to prepare a creative retail business plan to bring a new business concept to the mall.

Each Entrepreneur must submit detailed business plan.

The top ten business plans will be presented to the public and a judging panel.

A group of 5 presenters will be chosen to move on in the competition.

Through a series of presentations, challenges and appearances, the group of 5 will be narrowed down to one eventual winner.

The Entrepreneur that performs best in the series of presentations, challenges and appearances and with the best business plan will win a host of prizes.

COMPETITION GOALS
Promoting Creativity and Entrepreneurial Spirit: This Entrepreneur Challenge will encourage and reward creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. Concepts will be recognized for being highly feasible as well as entertaining and unique.

Community Spirit and Collaboration: The Entrepreneur will promote community spirit and collaboration in assessing, grading, recognizing and supporting excellence in business planning and implementation. It will also create an opportunity to create a contest legacy that is a going concern and functioning testimonial (for at least a year).

Restoring Excitement And Opportunity to Entrepreneurship: Set in the Seaway Mall, home to Niagara's largest concentration of independent retailers, The Entrepreneur Challenge will create excitement and opportunity.

Balance Between Theoretical and Applied Principles: This promotion will be unlike others because it will feature both theoretical and applied dimensions of a successful plan.
