HOW TO PARTICIPATE
No Purchase Necessary
1.1 Eligibility: The Seaway Mall Black Friday contest is open to all residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority in the Province of Ontario, except employees of or members of the immediate family of Doral Holdings Limited/Seaway Mall Management are not eligible to participate (Immediate family is defined as parents, siblings, children or spouse). In the event a person under the age of majority enters into the Hot Tub contest, they are permitted to transfer the entry to their parent or legal guardian, who will then be the eligible entrant.
1.2 Contest Period: Starting at 9:00 a.m., Eastern Time, November 24th, 2017 to 9:00 p.m., Eastern Time, November 24th, 2017. Customers may participate in the Contest by filling out a ballot and dropping it into one of the three ballot boxes, depending of the prize of their choice, located at Seaway Mall Customer Service desk.
Ballots will only be available at:
- Seaway Mall Customer Service
- or without any purchase, by mailing an entry to Seaway Mall as indicated in section 3.7 of these contest rules.
1.3 Contest Entry: By filling out and dropping off a ballot to Seaway Mall Customer Service and providing the correct information or completion by mailing in an entry (in accordance with section 3.7). Eligible customers will be entered into the Contest for one (1) chance to win each Prize.
1.4 Contest Entry Restrictions: Multiple entries during the duration of the contest is NOT acceptable. Entries with the same information on the ballot will be disqualified.
1.5 Awarding of Prize: The Prize will be awarded to the Customer whose contact information (name and email address) has been given by the entrant or indicated on the mail in entry and who has complied with these Rules.
2.1 Prize: Three winners will be chosen. The prizes consist of two (2) Buffalo Sabres vs. Boston Bruins hockey tickets for Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 8:30 pm in Buffalo, NY., 24 Cineplex-tickets valid for one year and a 3-piece luggage set. The Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitution or transfers of the Prize will be allowed. The Prize will available for pick up at Seaway Mall Customer Service, during regular mall hours, upon providing photo ID and signing the Seaway Mall prize release form.
2.2 Odds: The odds of being randomly selected to win the Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Contest Period.
2.3 Prize Draw: The Prize will be awarded by random draw from all eligible Contest entries received during the applicable Contest Period. The draw will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Seaway Mall Customer Service desk, 800 Niagara Street, Welland, Ontario, L3C 5Z4.
2.4 Notification of Selection: The selected Customer will be contacted by email and telephone (using the contact information provided by the Customer at the time of entering the Contest) at least three (3) times within the fourteen (14) days after the draw. If the selected Customer cannot be reached in that timeframe, another Customer will then be randomly selected. The initial selected Customer will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards Seaway Mall or anyone involved in the Contest. In order to win he or she will be required to sign a Seaway Mall prize release form, confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, acceptance of the Prize as awarded and releasing Seaway Mall from all liability relating to the Contest. No substitution for, or transfer of the Prize, will be allowed.
- GENERAL RULES
3.1 Each Prize claim is subject to verification by Seaway Mall and/or its designated representatives. All Contest entries obtained through unauthorized sources or which are incomplete, illegible, mutilated, altered, reproduced, forged, irregular or fraudulent in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Rules are automatically void. Seaway Mall will be the sole and final reference source in validating a Prize claim.
3.2 By participating, each Customer and selected winner agrees: (a) to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of Seaway Mall, (b) to release and hold harmless Seaway Mall, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and independent contractors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability for claims/damages including, but not limited to, claims/damages for personal injury, for property damage with respect to acceptance, possession or use or misuse of the Prize or participation in the Contest; (c) to permit Seaway Mall to use his/her name, address, city, province, of residence, photograph, video, or any likeness for advertising or publicity purposes without any additional compensation and (d) the winner agrees to sign a prize release form.
3.3 The decisions of Seaway Mall in relation to this Contest will be final and binding on all entrants.
3.4 Seaway Mall shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription or registration of Contest entry information, technical malfunctions, deletion, or defects.
3.5 Seaway Mall reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Contest, at its sole discretion. Fraud or any other occurrence or cause beyond its control that corrupts or adversely affects the administration, security, fairness or normal operation of the Contest.
3.6 If a selected entrant is awarded the Prize due to a system error, malfunction or defect the Prize will be returned to the Prize pool, to be re-awarded.
3.7 To enter without a ballot a Customer may hand print their name, address, email address, postal code and phone number on a plain 3” x 5” piece of paper and sign it. Place the entry form in an envelope and mail it with sufficient postage to: Seaway Mall Management, Suite GG1, 800 Niagara Street, Welland, Ontario, L3C 5Z4.
Entries must be postmarked no later than November 27th, 2017. Limit of one (1) entry per envelope with sufficient postage. All mail-in entries will bear the same odds as other entrees.
